Happy Hot January, friends -

Well, in reference to the post below, we got the shaft from the Houston Aero’s and were replaced by a High School choir of 30 kids (and their parents who bought tickets) for the entertainment that night.  We were unaware that they were counting on us to fill their seats.

We will be back there on March 4th.  Right before SxSW.  But since we aren’t playing SxSW, we are going to pretend it starts a week early.  You should come and make believe with us.  

This coming Saturday, as a fund raiser to raise money for Families that are adopting children, we are playing our newest song “This Human Race” as the mid game entertainment for the Houston Aero’s Hockey team.

Last night was one for the record books.  My ears are still ringing…  Thanks to Westland Baptist for hosting, and Chuckazooloo for the entertaining opening set.  (and for sharing not 1, but 2 meals with us).  -Mission Burrito before, and Denny’s after.

The audio is blown out in this video, but when we get quiet, you can hear quite well.  And…stellar video I might add from Mrs. Mainline Mom.

This is the one song, not on our album.  It will be on the next, no doubt.

This song was born out of a tough time.  Relationships can be hard, and friendships can be messy.  It was written with my feelings on my sleeve, but a prayer for redemption to come.  So far, it hasn’t, but there is still hope.   And…we hope you enjoy.

We are a 4 piece band from Houston, TX.  Many things are near and dear to us.  Children & Family, Mexican Food, and good rock music.

We make music that tells a story.  From our own woundedness, to the wounds of the “least of these”, we give a voice to those without.  We are advocates of caring for the fatherless in this generation.
