This Wednesday night, at AMC Dunvale in Houston, TX…Adam and John will be playing a few songs before the showing of STUCK.  This movie is near and dear to our hearts – as we are intimately aware of the barriers that are in place when trying to adopt Internationally.

John, and his wife Vanessa have been waiting for their son from Ethiopia for 3 years.  They are weary in the wait.

Well, in reference to the post below, we got the shaft from the Houston Aero’s and were replaced by a High School choir of 30 kids (and their parents who bought tickets) for the entertainment that night.  We were unaware that they were counting on us to fill their seats.

This coming Saturday, as a fund raiser to raise money for Families that are adopting children, we are playing our newest song “This Human Race” as the mid game entertainment for the Houston Aero’s Hockey team.

Last night was one for the record books.  My ears are still ringing…  Thanks to Westland Baptist for hosting, and Chuckazooloo for the entertaining opening set.  (and for sharing not 1, but 2 meals with us).  -Mission Burrito before, and Denny’s after.

The audio is blown out in this video, but when we get quiet, you can hear quite well.  And…stellar video I might add from Mrs. Mainline Mom.

This is the one song, not on our album.  It will be on the next, no doubt.

This song was born out of a tough time.  Relationships can be hard, and friendships can be messy.  It was written with my feelings on my sleeve, but a prayer for redemption to come.  So far, it hasn’t, but there is still hope.   And…we hope you enjoy.
